Officers investigating a serious assault in Southsea are releasing CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to. We received a report that at around 11:00pm on Saturday 20 September 2025, a man in his 30s had been assaulted on Albert Road in Southsea, knocking him unconscious. The man suffered a brain haemorrhage and loss of hearing in one ear as a result of the assault. Officers have been carrying out extensive enquiries to establish the full circumstances, such as reviewing CCTV footage, and arrested three people on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. Following further investigation, they will face no further action.
